Bidding time

March 18, 2020

CandleI’m bidding time. Good morning, everyone. It’s almost 9:00 a.m. in Petoskey, Michigan on this March 18th. A soft morning sits outside with a sun covered by thick clouds. The bird feeders hang quiet with no breeze. My candle is lit and Kevin Mockingbird plays his Native American flute for my meditation. This daily ritual  of ours has become ever more important. To sanctify a reality of social change, however temporary, is necessary. We must understand the purpose of making sure those among us survive. Those among us who are in ill health or at risk of disease more than many. This is not a time for apocalyptical thoughts engaging natural selection. This is not the common flu. This is a disease everyone will get, if and when exposed. You have no natural immunity that we know of, so don’t walk around thinking all is safe. While you may be slightly ill, those next to you may die or have life altering illness.  Listen to music and enjoy the peace.
