Super PAC Strikethrough, the first of a trilogy, begins the discussion of how money and politics works from the inside.  The story also introduces a threat most don’t wish to believe or understand.  I would suggest you begin to take interest.  The recent posting http://www.sfgate.com/business/energy/article/Billionaire-fracking-brothers-top-political-donors-4266568.php brings to light what I’ve said here several times – beware the local political scene.  The new money is in fracking.  There are trillions of dollars to be made around the world.  Whatever your stance on the subject, know that the money being made from fracking and being poured into purchasing politicians is the same.  A circle that needs to be broken before it’s too late.  In Super PAC Strikethrough, Stewert James begins the introduction of foreign money being used to expand political holds in the U.S.  Each upcoming book in the trilogy expands on that new phenomenon allowed under Citizens United with the last book focusing on fracking.  Before you can blink, the local town council will be filled with candidates funded by super PAC’s.  If your community is surrounded by fracking grounds, it may already be happening.
