The second novel in the Super PAC trilogy (Super PAC Nine-Day Shadow) begins to open the curtain on what has happened to American politics in the aftermath of Citizens United v Federal Election Commission. The money that continues to add up supports agendas and causes that are not those of the majority public. As the protagonist in the trilogy, Parker Moore finds himself a target and a decoy for the NSA to help find the greatest contributors to campaigns. That group is not local. In fact they’re not even in the same rent district of the U.S. The horror story that Citizens United has become exemplifies the ability of money to flow into political campaigns of all makes and models for anyone’s personal agenda. As an example, in Michigan the GOP run house, senate and governor’s office are changing the way Michigan works with and manages its natural resources. The public wants it one way, but the term limited behemoths of the GOP political army wish to enact as much damage as possible as quickly as possible. Why? Greater office holdings down the road, as well as money that flowed into their election – and continues to flow. Super PAC Nine-Day Shadow is the second novel that actually sets the stage for what will happen next: the fracking of Michigan while everyone sits back and watches because the laws have been written so that you can’t do a thing about it.
